I am a Certified Labor Doula and healthcare leader with more than 20 years of experience advocating for patients and improving healthcare experiences. I am also the founder of Omi Doula Birth & Wellness, where we provide compassionate, evidence-informed support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. I earned my Doctor of Health Administration (DHA), and through my doctoral research I focused on maternal health, deepening my understanding of the factors that influence birth outcomes and the importance of respectful, patient-centered care. combining clinical knowledge, healthcare leadership experience, and doula training to help families feel informed, confident, and empowered throughout their birth journey. The approach at Omi Doula Birth is rooted in education, advocacy, emotional support, and collaboration with healthcare providers. We believe every family deserves to be heard, respected, and equipped to make informed decisions that align with their values and birth goals. We are passionate about advancing equitable maternal healthcare while welcoming and supporting families from all backgrounds.
